How is math important to you?
I find it terribly sad to see workers at stores like Mcdonalds not be able to think but only rely on the computer. If my bill is say 10.14 and I give the worker 20. 25, many times they stare at me like a DEER in a headlight..

I try to instill self responsibility to my students. Inner city students are filled with words. I try to show them they will be judged WINNER or LOSER by their actions not just words.
